Peak Human Condition
Although getting on in life, Steve is highly skilled, experienced, and trained as a soldier, spy, and pilot. While not quite to Batman's level of conditioning, he could run down and hijack a plane as it was taxiing for takeoff, contributed to many fights involving Wonder Woman, and didn't back down when confronted with German spies in London despite the odds. He trusted his ability to win in the face of those slim odds, even trying to protect Diana, yet having her turn the tables and protecting him.
Highly Intelligent
Steve worked for British Intelligence during the Great War, requiring him to be smart enough to think outside the box and work with things that may have been outside the norm. He accepted Diana as being capable, despite being a woman, although he still occasionally treated her as a lady and attempted to protect her. It didn't extend to seeing Ares' deception, who easily deceived him and his team.
Spy
As a skilled spy, Steve managed to work his way behind enemy lines (with help from colleagues) to deceive and impersonate German soldiers. It enabled him to recover critical information and deny the German war machine the same, putting their research back by some time. He's able to think on his feet and put up a charade with minimal time, along with picking up the lies of others, going so far as to fool his superiors into thinking he was being a good soldier and listening to orders.
Soldier
Steve has many skills that help him on the battlefield; he is a pilot, allowing him to nurse a damaged plane to a relatively soft crash landing in Themysciran waters, and he stole a German bomber originally tasked with dropping a new form of mustard gas on London, ascending high enough to blow it up and burn off the gas. He is a marksman, able to use many different weapons with minimal loss of accuracy. He is even skilled in close quarters combat, using his fists and the butt of his weapon to strike as needed. While not the best at any one thing, he is a Jack of all Trades.
Leader
Capable and charismatic, he organized the Wonder Men to pull off a covert mission into Belgium when British Intelligence denied him the opportunity to do the same. He is even willing to let another take the lead when it is the best option for the mission at hand and using the opportunity to pull off amazing feats.
Strong Willed
With a determination and strength of will many look up to, Steve believes strongly in doing the right thing, even when it means disobeying a direct order. He has seen the horrors of war, and although he suffers from what he's been through, he struggles on and never gives up, even inspiring others to step up and do great things. He has even defied the Lasso of Hestia temporarily, at great pain to himself, but it felt like the right thing at the time. He would always step up when something wrong was happening in the world, even if it meant his death saved the lives of many. His sacrifice inspired others to do the same.
⋗ This Steve Trevor is based mainly on the DCEU version due to familiarity. The mun has some experience with the 60s Lynda Carter version of Wonder Woman and is picking up further content in order to broaden his horizons and characterization, and is willing to listen to positive suggestions. Currently reading Wonder Woman: Rebirth onwards, and have read the Steve Trevor special issue.
⋗ In public, this Steve will be played as learning the modern-day. As he learns, I will be making notes and paying attention to who he meets and knows, what he understands, and so on. I reserve the right to play things differently in PMs.
⋗ Steven H Trevor: H for Howard. Comics have Steven Rockwell Trevor dying and being brought back to life under the alias Steve Howard, where the DCEU version gives the full name as Steven Howard Trevor.
⋗ Story over smut. Always, always, always, there needs to be story, a connection, and chemistry between both muns and characters.
⋗ The mun occasionally gets overloaded (often mentioned as sensory overload since that's what it feels like). Please be aware he may have to bail without warning, but will try to make writing partners aware. This mostly applies to writing in public together but does occasionally apply in private messages. A little patience goes a long way.
⋗ The mun is not single and not looking. Roleplaying is for the enjoyment of writing, nothing more, nothing less.
